To welcome the Olympics to be held in London in 2012. Mayor of London is seeking to ensure that mobile phone signals in the extended network of the city's underground transportation. As already quoted from the PC Advisor, September 22, 2010, Boris Johnson, mayor of London was discussing with the five largest mobile operator in the UK ie, O2, T-Mobile, Orange, 3, and Vodafone about the installation of equipment needed to welcome the Olympics.

Johnson also want to ensure that network operators will help to alleviate the cost of its services later, and does not charge the entire cost of investment on the customer. But mention the Greater London Authority, the availability of cell phone signals in underground transportation routes remain dependent on the ability of providers to make proposals that are considered satisfactory from both technical and commercial aspects.
