Optimus 2X LG Smartphone

LG has officially announced the LG Optimus 2X (aka LG Star), the world's first smartphone with dual core processors NVIDIA Tegra 2 which runs at speeds of 1GHz. With dual-core processor then Optimus 2X LG smartphone will offer a faster experience, web browsing and applications more smoothly and also lets users multitask with almost no screen lag.

LG Optimus 2X has a screen 4-inch WVGA 800 × 480px touchscreen and rear 8 Megapixel camera that supports video playback of 1080p MPEG-4/H.264, there is also a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video calling, 8GB of internal storage.
The phone, of course, also offers 1080p HDMI output. Optimus 2X LG also has a microSD card slot, micro USB port and battery 1500mAh. LG will Optimus 2X available in Korea in January 2010 and will use the Android operating system 2.2 Froyo which also can be upgraded to the 3.2 Android Gingerbread.


It also has to connect wirelessly to other electronic devices that support DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance). (source)
